I can help you 'grow your wings' with a holistic coaching approach that combines mental, emotional and physical elements; fully custom-designed to your needs. 
 
The mental tools I offer have been gathered during my thirty years of experience as a leadership coach in international companies. These models and maps will help you strengthen your 'development mindset', which will allow you to see challenges and set-backs as normal parts of life and as growth opportunities. 

For deep inner work on an emotional or spiritual level, we may supplement these mental models with meditation, guided visualisation, breathing exercises and tai chi principles. These approaches serve to help you connect to your True Self and your life purpose, and balance or increase your inner energy and focus

At some point, we may even go on a mindfulness walk in nature to help you find new inspiration.

What happens in a session?

Live sessions in West London, or remote sessions per phone and zoom.

There are two options
  • If  you need just-in-time coaching with a current issue, I can be your Thinking Partner.  A targeted coaching  session will help you clarify your issue and your next action steps. 
  • If you like to work on greater challenges and create a positive shift in your life, you will want to attend several sessions. In an initial Zoom or the Phone Call (ca 20min, free), you can explain your situation and explore how I work with clients. I will then make a coaching plan, which I send you per email, and you can choose whether you like to proceed (a coaching process is usually 4-9 session).

Coaching Methods

The most important methods of our coaching sessions are deep listening and asking powerful questions. In addition Andrea has a rich repertoire of tools: mental maps, models and frameworks, which can help you gather and organise your thoughts, explore your strengths and barriers, and decide your next action steps. As an example, we often use the GROW model to clarify goals, opportunities and resources, or  the Change Curve to explore emotions and thoughts that may occur in significant life transitions.

Tai Chi & Martial Arts principles

Tai Chi exercises can teach you how to relax the body while remaining present and engaged. Set backs are a normal part of life, and Tai Chi can help you increase your natural resilience - without having to push yourself so hard. Real strength comes from focus and flow. 
You will explore hard and soft approaches to problem solving  (using the ancient Asian principles of Yin and Yang; the soft/flowing/receiving energy and the hard/fast/expanding energy). Learning to 'yield with purpose' - to consciously decide which challenges to engage with and where to let go - is an important martial arts skill. It can be easily applied to everyday issues.        Learn more

Mindfulness & Meditation

Regular mind and body work allows you to find and expand your individual energy-sources; discovering your 'inner power' and giving it focus and direction. We can coach you to clarify your purpose, priorities, values and guiding principles through guided visualisations. Being more mindful of who you are and what you want to do - without sweating the small stuff - will help you live with more purpose and joy.

Bach Flower Remedies

After a few coaching sessions - if you still feel a bit stuck -  I may suggest to use Bach flowers to support your journey. These remedies - purely herbal and with no side effects or dangers - can help create positive shifts on a deep emotional and mental level. For example, if you have set some goals for yourself, but you just can't get started, we find out what hinders you on deeper level and find a Bach flower to help balance this issue. Learn more

New Vision

Does your current life path align with who you really are? If you don't think so, and would like to integrated who you are and what you do, we can help you find a new vision. Tools like drawing your life journey, mapping your energy and creating a vision board will help you discover your life purpose and values. You may explore what hinders you to be "fully yourself". The life you were meant to live, the things that bring you joy and fulfilment - what would it take to make these happen?

Achieve your Goals

If you know what you like to do, but are not sure how to get started,  we can help you on a both mental and emotional level. We will use tools such as the 'Grow Model' or 'Facts-Assumptions-Possibilities' to help you explore your inner drive, mental blocks, and opportunities. Acknowledging inner barriers is a first step to set yourself free - then you can work on an action plan, acknowledging your existing resources and skills, and developing new ones.

Stress Management

You will learn how to recognise and manage external stress factors, as well as your attitude and your physical reaction to stress. For example, you may find that you aggravate stressful situations through an inability to say no or to draw boundaries on time, or through focussing on the glass being half empty instead of half full.  Maintaining boundaries, giving constructive feedback, and spotting opportunities even in times of stress are skills that can be learned. To supplement our coaching dialogue we will selected Tai Chi exercises  and guided meditations to help you find your inner strength. ​

Relationships

Learn how to express yourself and engage with others through authentic and meaningful dialogue. Improve your ability to listen and give useful, non offensive feed back. Set boundaries in a positive way and learn how to resolve conflicts. We will look at different personality types and how they can support and hinder each other, and explore the things that can go wrong in your communication. ​

Dealing with Change

Change is a normal part of life, but even if the change is overall positive - getting married, being promoted, moving to your dream house - it can cause turbulence and fear. 
We will look at the possible reactions to change - so that you can help yourself and others on an emotional level. You will also learn to distinguish between what is fact and what is just a fear or assumption, so that you can fully appreciate the positive potential of the upcoming change - and deal with possible downsides in a down-to-earth,   constructive manner.
