On my recent camping trip to Dorset, I climbed one of the coastal peaks at the end of the day, and found this Brother Tree. I decided to talk to him, and ask for teachings and here is the messages I got:
Just keep growing...
We will have a small fire-ceremony at the Fireside Lodge; if you would like to give something to this fire please send it to me (email@example.com) . It could be something you would like to let go of, or a vision for the future that will be empowered by the heat, some words of forgiveness that will be honoured by the flames, or a prayer that will go to the universe by riding on the smoke …
The quality of your drum journey experience will depend a lot on the quality and clarity of your journey intent. Here are some thoughts about asking good questions
Recently, somebody asked me what the most common procedure was in my shamanic practice. It is soul retrieval. Most clients who come to the Fireside Lodge need some of that, so it may be useful to share some experiences here.
In recent weeks, I have coached some beginners on the shamanic path who were frustrated that they could not perceive anything on their journeys. Here is how I guided them to have more insightful journeys. This might be especially helpful for beginners who work with drum tapes, and a good refresher for people who are more advanced on their shamanic path.
Are you interested in ‘Sacred Poetry’ – poetry that is created or received in a ceremonial setting? Here is some advice on how to do it - either through drum-journey methods or other ways.
Many people ask me about ‘house healing’, which is part of the Fireside Lodge’s work, and here is an example of a flat clearing/ blessing. The energy of a former partner negatively impacted the peace in the flat. It could be cleared, which restored the balance in the flat and created closure for the lady who lived there. This also opened additional healing opportunities for the person involved.
