Usui Reiki Third Degree
Practitioner / Teacher (Master)

Reiki Mastery cannot be learned in a course; it is a state of mind, a daily practice, a way of life. Mastery is rarely an end-state; it is a journey. It is the way you treat yourself and others and connect to the universe. Therefore, I prefer to use the terms Reiki 3 Practitioner or Reiki Teacher for the third level of attunements courses. You have the following options:

Level 3 Master/Practitioner
If you do not plan to teach, but you would like to create a professional or semi-professional Reiki practice. It entails participating in the first two days of the course and the follow-up session (2.5 days in total). To receive your certificate, you will also have to hand in a written answers to a quiz with client scenario questions, several case studies and a self-treatment journal. Details will be given at the course.


Level 3 Master/Teacher
If you plan to teach and initiate others, you will participate in an additional day of training and the follow-up session (3.5 days in total). You cannot do the Teacher training without also attending the Level 3 Practitioner course. Again, you will have to hand in written answers to a quiz with teaching scenario questions, create high level teaching outlines,  and additional case studies before you receive your certificate.

Requirements after the course

After the training course, you will take some time to further develop your daily practice and treat others with the Level 3 tools. If you are training as a Teacher, you will teach Reiki 1 to at least one person (can be a family member). You will keep a journal and write some case studies, and then come to the follow-up session (half a day) to debrief your work and get some feedback.

Content

Whether you attend the Practitioner or Teacher course, you will be attuned to the Usui and Tibetan Master symbols, which you can use for your client work (healing attunements).  As a Teacher, you will also use the symbols to initiate students and learn how to do this on the third day.

In the first two days, we will revisit and widen your self-development tools, such as Hatsurei Ho and Kotodama Chanting. We will have a deeper look at the Reiki principles and your role and conduct as a Level 3 Practitioner or Teacher. This also includes dialog and practice of our ability to balance difficult situations by radiating Reiki.

For client work, we will cover advanced healing techniques (such as Psychic Surgery, Creating your own symbols for specific client work, etc.). You will learn how to carry out a Reiju empowerment to use on your clients and explore further advanced methods of Mikao Usui.

We will also discuss - in even greater depth than before - the ethical, practical and legal considerations when treating others or setting up a practice.

The third day (Teachers only) covers the initiation of the other Reiki levels. You will learn the attunements method and hear about best practices of teaching adults.  At the end, you will teach a small section of the curriculum and get feedback.

 Who can participate
Going to level 3 only makes sense once you have experience of using Reiki intensely on yourself and others. This is a role of great responsibility and you must be able to be a strong channel for the Reiki energy (with no ego attachment).

We will have a preliminary chat to find out together whether this is the right timing for you. Once we decided that Reiki 3 is right for you, you will do some pre-work, where you reflect and write about your journey with Reiki so far. You will also have to hand in case studies and self treatment reports, which will be explained in the Reiki 2 course.

If you have not learned Reiki 1 and 2 with me, I will need to get to know you first in some of my Reiki Shares and I will need you to document some of your self-development and treatment work so far.
