Reiki Training
I am teaching a combination of Western Reiki and the original version created by Mikao Usui (1865-1926). Rooted in Tendai Buddhism and Shintoism, Reiki serves as a spiritual path, self-development and healing method. Its core goal is to balance our energy - which has great benefits for our mental, emotional and physical well-being.
The Path of the Medicine Wheel (Core/Contemporary Shamanic Skills)
These workshop will develop your ability to find guidance, healing and transformation power for your everyday life. At the Fireside Lodge, we teach Shamanic skills for our times and context. These are inspired by Shamanic traditions from around the world, including our local heritage, but not linked to any specific culture. To honour the ancient cultures when practicing these skills, we do not call ourselves 'Shamans'; we are on a shamanic path, and call ourselves shamanic practitioners if working for others.
Foundation Course
Workshop for (new) owners of a healing/meditation drum (Pre-requisites: you need your own hand held frame-drum): Advanced Courses (Pre-requisites: Foundation Course Drum Journey Skills) These will be scheduled again in 2025
Private Lessons These are done face-to-face at the Fireside Lodge, but some parts can be done per Zoom if you live far away. I will custom-design your program based on your goals and pre-existing knowledge. You won't be able to take private lessons about advanced topics before you have developed the basic skills and a solid experience in using these skills in your everyday life.

Nature's Wisdom and Plant Spirit Ceremonies
Nature is full of teachings, transformation and healing power; by honouring nature, you honour yourself.
You don't have to travel to the jungle or climb the highest mountain to connect with nature's spirit - it is right at your doorstep: The 'weeds' along the parking lot, the pigeons in the streets...
Nature-Ceremonies follow the cycles of nature and are inspired by the ancient ways - translated in a format that works in our time and context. The purpose of Ceremonies is to create extra energy for healing and positive change. They consist of circle work, meditations, prayers, visualisation journeys, and - most importantly - a sacred act, something you do to demonstrate your intent or gain more insights or healing. This act can be as small as lighting a candle, and as complex as going on a pilgrimage.

End-of-Life Skills
Make peace with your own mortality, and develop your skills to support friends and family who are dying.
