Shamanic Skills for End-of-Life Practitioners: Level 2
Psychopomp and Initiations to Death and Dying

You must have attended my Level 1 course "Shamanic Skills for End-of-Life Practitioners" to attend this course. 

Psychopomp is the ancient skill of helping souls transcend to the light if they are stuck in our everyday reality. This ability rests on three foundations:

• Knowledge of the process and skills to perform it
• Ability to connect and work with a trusted spirit team
• Feeling safe and familiar with the sphere of death, making peace with your own mortality. 

Goals of the Workshop

• Broaden your repertoire to prepare your client's soul for safe transition (before their death)
• Increase your confidence and strength when working with your clients after their death
• Know what to do if you encounter random lost souls at work (hospices, hospitals, bed-site) or in everyday life
• Define your role as a Psychopomp: how much of this work would you like to do and how?
• Create a peer-group of like-minded practitioners who can support each other with difficult psychopomp cases

Day One

Working with Death and Dying in a shamanic way

• Re-connect with the circle  - exchange experiences so far
• Revisit core shamanic skills, such as creating sacred space, protection, engaging in sacred partnership when journeying
• Deepen the work on shamanic cosmology and best practices when working with the Middle world
• Shamanic Journeys to explore Death and Dying
• Gathering your Spirit Team

Day Two

Psychopomp Process

• Revisit the reasons why souls get stuck and basic psychopomp methods we covered in the first course
• Learn and practice the core Psychopomp Process
• Understand problem cases and what you can do about them
• Explore your role as a Pychopomp; pro-active service versus client work
• Group Ceremony

• Date: Will be scheduled for spring 2024. 
• Time: 10 to ca 6.00pm (first day), to 5.00pm (second day). Participants will be invited to attend a Fire Ceremony on the First evening
• Where: Fireside Lodge, Hanwell, London (non-residential)
