I like Spider as a symbol of Samhain (31 October), not so much because of all the spooky Halloween stuff going on during these days. But she seems to express this time of the year so well: taking down the big web, stopping the big hunt, starting to hibernate very soon…

​The Celtic festival of Samhain is coming up this weekend - All Soul’s Night, Hallows Eve, Halloween – I would like to share a bit of inspiration on how you can celebrate this time and use it for your personal and spiritual development work -  especially now, as many of the public ceremonies and parties cannot happen. 

​The Summer Solstice is coming up this weekend; the longest day of the year, and nature in its fullest. You can use some of this amazing energy to foster positive transformation, and call new vision, passion, joy, abundance and magic into your life.
There will be an outdoors celebration at the Fireside Lodge with a small group of people, and you can connect to the circle by doing some of the ceremonies at home or in a nearby park.  You can also send us your input for the Solstice Fire. We will give to the Fire what you sent to us  and will witness how the smoke and the light takes your voice to the universe.

​Tomorrow is the first of May, but the “May Day” starts tonight at Sunset. The ancient celebration of Beltane (Bel is the Sun God, Lord of life and death) officially starts the summer half year in the Celtic calendar. And it will finish in November with Samhain. For people who like to meditate, reflect, connect and re-bundle their energy, tonight is a good night to do some Vigiling.
